Atticus Research was founded in December 2025 to help financial institutions and other stakeholders better understand, measure, and communicate credit risk.

Atticus Research primarily works with clients in two ways:

Advisory Services for Financial Institutions
We partner directly with banks and financial institutions to strengthen internal credit risk management practices. This includes enhancing credit risk reporting frameworks, portfolio analytics, concentration monitoring, risk policies, credit models, and management and board-level reporting.

Independent Credit Risk and Economic Analysis
We also provide analysis of publicly available credit, banking, and economic information for investors, businesses, and other stakeholders seeking deeper insight into credit trends, portfolio risk, and broader economic conditions.

Atticus Research was founded by Steve Blasdell, a financial services executive who has been working across various areas of finance since 2001, including consulting, sales / trading, and risk management.
